How to complete Teach Me A Lesson 1 in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To complete the Teach Me A Lesson 1 quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or TOTK, you need to take a picture of the Great Calamity painting. You know, the “incident” that set off the events of Breath of the Wild. So, you need to unlock the camera first. Check out our How to take pictures guide for more information on this. The next step is to go to the village of Kakariko and climb the long wooden stairs to Paya Hall. If you don’t know where it is, check out our screenshot below. Enter the house and climb the stairs in the far left corner. Go to the room upstairs and turn left as soon as you enter.
The next step to completing the Zelda TOTK or Tears of the Kingdom Teach Me A Lesson 1 quest is to take a picture of the Calamity painting. You don’t want it to be too big or Simin won’t accept it. Use the image above to help you set up your shot. Take a picture, then return to the school in Hateno Village and talk to Simin. If nothing happens, you will have to retake the photo. And remember that school is only from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you come at another time, there will be no one there. And that’s basically it. Good luck in your adventures!
