Pathfinder is a level 2 white lotus mission. Here, the first mission objective you will need to complete is to “steal a GPS tracker from a dumpster at the Zaya observatory.” But where exactly is the place where you should do it? Well, to save you from having to look for it everywhere Zaya Observatory Dead Drop location in CoD Warzone 2 DMZ Pathfinderwe will show you exactly where you need to go.
Get the GPS tracker from the dead drop in the Zaya observatory
The mission statement tells us a lot about where we need to go and what we need to do there. “We placed a GPS tracker in the hamburger joint at the observatory. We need you to use GPS to help us update our topographic maps of the area. We will need frequent sampling points in the AO to accurately combine the kriging into the working data. Pick up the tracker from a dead stop, visit all the main points of interest and come back with it.”
Since Pathfinder is an old mission from Season 1, the location of Zaya Observatory is on the Al Mazrah map. But there is a catch, the dead drop is moved to another place. So, as you can see, the first step is to go to the dead center location and pick up the GPS tracker from there. In the screenshot below, we’ve marked where you need to go to get it. There it can be found in the trash. It is northeast of the observatory. In the alley of the building, which is most often a fortress, on the side facing Sharim Pass. Look for the building with the huge red Burger logo. Once you get it, the rest of the mission will have you visit every POI in Al Mazra in one go and make a successful exit. Of course, this is by no means an easy feat, so it’s best to try it with a helicopter. You will have to refuel the helicopter a few times, but this is much easier than trying to complete the entire mission on foot.
