Jockey Rachael Blackmore pays tribute to Jack de Bromhead after Cheltenham victory

Galopin Des Champs proved too strong to take the prestigious award for Bravemansgame with a brilliant performance. Cheltenham Gold Cup on the last day Cheltenham Festival.

Trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend, Galopin Des Champs was sent from the 7/5 favorite to make a successful stride on the flamboyant three-mile, two-and-a-half-foot ride.

And while it wasn’t proven over the distance, his stamina was never in doubt as he outstripped the Bravemans game at Cheltenham hill to make an impressive seven-length decision.

last year’s winner Rachel Blackmore He failed to repeat his historic victory 12 months later as he pulled the A Plus Tard after being caught by a horse that fell five fences away.
