Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection II has received a surprise release on the online store

Remember the second assembly Valis which appeared on the Nintendo Switch last September in Japan? Now Edia has released it locally in the eShop for $44.99 USD.

Valis: The Phantasm Soldier Collection II comes with three other entries in the Valis series. Players can review Valis IV (PC Engine), Sid with Valis (Genesis / Mega Drive) and Valis: A fantastic soldier (Genesis / Mega Drive). There is also a bonus game Valis: Ghost Soldier for the MSX computer system.

All these versions support “advanced playback features” such as sound mode, visual mode and rewind mode. The game menus have also been “upgraded” to improve the overall experience. Here’s a bit about the origins of the series (via Nintendo.com), as well as an overview of the collection:
