not-leash. Get!? Dog– gone! something? To be more on nose, you play as a Shiba Inu in Humanity, available on PS5 and PS4 from tomorrow and available as a day one release in the PlayStation Plus games catalog. With less than a day until the game’s launch, we wanted to celebrate and maybe inspire you to check out Stage Creator by sharing this stage inspired by the PlayStation logo.

Creating a scene with the PlayStation logo

Using Humanity’s ultra-intuitive editor, you can let your imagination run wild. Whatever you’re in the mood for, a perplexing puzzle or a relaxing piece of art, it’s easy to make inside Humanity. Best of all, when you’re done, you can share your creations with the world!

Check out the Palette menu, which has everything you need to create a scene. The basic building blocks of any level are… Well, Blocks! To create the PlayStation scene you see here, we used the static (not moving) and motorized (can be made to move along a pre-planned route) types, but there are many other options available for your custom level. All you need are some blocks, people and a destination to send them to. If you have these three things, you have a working level! If you get stuck or need help, Stage Creator has a large library of tutorial videos to guide you every step of the way.

We’ll start by drawing the “S” in the “PS” logo. This will be the basis for our puzzle. Next, we will create a path for people to follow while avoiding others who are walking below and trying to stop us from collecting this precious Gold. Finally, the letter “S” curls around and attaches to the back of the tall letter “P”.

That’s one giant PlayStation logo!

Ahhhh, we forgot to add an important piece! So, let’s open the Palette and drop a boulder into it. Lo and behold, it now looks like it has a “registered” symbol. You didn’t see that coming, did you? Get creative and don’t forget to have fun creating your level!

Make the level interesting to solve

Now that we’ve completed the basic design, we need to add the puzzle aspects to the level. People will walk along S, climb to the high peak of P, and achieve the three objectives at the top. But wait, there’s a tricky part. Did you see that golden goal above? Use your cute Shiba Inu, give commands and accompany your human pack with Goldie to Goldie Goal. It’s no easy task, let me tell you! Not only do you need to guide Goldie to his own goal, but you’ll also need people moving toward the other two goals. You have to do it all and avoid the others who are waiting to beat you with their sticks.

Think you can finish our stage? With practice I’m sure you can. The level is in user stages and waiting for you to accept the challenge:

Stage ID “PlayStation Logo” 001-157-8556.

After you win, you can rate and save it to your favorites. This is a five star level for assuredYes?

This stage of PlayStation should show how flexible the editor is. If you are a beginner, you can start much easier. Here are some tips:

  • Don’t know where to start? Choose two mechanics in Humanity and combine them. Blocks are pushed with conveyor belts. Fans with Dog Switch. Climbing walls and water. Make a smaller puzzle and expand it.
  • Make your own take on a scene in Humanity’s story mode and remix/change some aspects of it.
  • Choose a theme and see what you can create. Make a sculpture out of blocks, then create a puzzle.

Bottom line – have fun. And don’t forget to share your scene with us! We’re excited to see what people in the community can do with these tools.

You can get Humanity starting tomorrow, May 16, on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4. Play on TV or optionally on PS VR2 or PS VR. The game is also part of the PlayStation Plus catalog of games, which is now available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium users.
