Ubisoft is reportedly “working on a strategic reorganization of its European subsidiaries,” which may include the closure of some European studios.
Unfounded reports first appeared on ResetErawhere the poster shared part of an email that allegedly detailed plans to “close a number of subsidiaries,” including the closure of Ubisoft Benelux.
Without a source or evidence, we cannot confirm the report. However, in a statement to NMEUbisoft declined to “share” any details, noting that “the process is ongoing,” but said: “The Ubisoft publishing group is working on a strategic reorganization of its European subsidiaries.”

Ubisoft has now confirmed that it will be attending E3 this yearfollowing cryptic comments made last week by company boss Yves Guillemault.
When asked if Ubisoft would be at E3 this year, Guillemot raised eyebrows, telling investors that his company would be there “if E3 happens.” However, the company has since confirmed that it will be present at E3, which is being hosted for the first time this year by Eurogamer’s parent company Reedpop with a “strong line-up”.
