A new trailer has been released for Season 2 of the Apple TV+ musical comedy series Shmigadoon!. The first season found the main characters played by Melissa and Josh Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key“Two New York doctors go on a backpacking trip when their relationship goes sour and get lost in the town of Schmigadoon – where life is a musical inspired by the songs and characters of the 1940s and 50s. Oklahoma! and Music man, among others. They can only escape when they find true love, whether it’s with each other or with someone else.”
After finding true love, Season 2 finds Josh and Melissa returning to the country music charm that brought them back to each other. But Schmigadun became Schmikago, the musical world of the 60s and 70s.
Season 2 will also return Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Kristin Chenoweth (Evil), Cameron the Pigeon (Liv and Maddie), Jaime Camil (Jane is a virgin), Alan Cummings (Cabaret), Ann Harada (Smash), Jane Krakowski (30 Rock), Martin Short (Only murders in the building), and Aaron Tveit (Gossip Girl, Graceland).
The season includes newcomers Titus Burgess (Indestructible Kimmy Schmidt, Central Park) as narrator and Patrick Page (In height, Spiritual) as Octavius Kratt.
