Netflix has a new mystery thriller series set in the White House Night agent, and the first trailer of the project was released. The show is based on Matthew Quirk’s book of the same name and is described as a complex, character-driven, action thriller.
The story centers on Peter Sutherland, a low-level FBI agent working in the basement of the White House, who “rings the phone – which never rings – late into the night, prompting him to hatch a quick and dangerous plot that will eventually lead to the Oval Office.
This plot seems to involve some kind of assassination plot along with some deep dark plots. This looks like a decent series and I’m ready to give it a try!
Night Agent stars Gabriel Basso As Sutherland, Luciane Buchanan, Hong Chau, DB Woodside, Enrique Murciano, Eve Harlow, Sarah Desjardins, Fola Evans-Akingbolaand Phoenix Rae.
The series was created by the show’s host and executive producer Sean Ryan (Shield, SWAT), with episodes he directed Seth Gordon (King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, Four Christmases, Horrible Bosses, Private Thief, Baywatch) along with Guy Ferland, Rama Mosley, Adam Arkinand Millicent Shelton.
The Night Agent series will premiere on Netflix on March 23, 2023.
