IFC has released a trailer for the upcoming film BlackBerry, tells the true story of the rise and fall of the people and company behind the incredibly popular BlackBerry device. The movie is based on the book Losing the Signal: The Untold Story Behind BlackBerry’s Extraordinary Rise and Spectacular Fall By Jacquie McNish and Sean Silcoff.

BlackBerry tells the story of Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie, the two men who charted the course of the spectacular rise and disastrous fall of the world’s first smartphone. The film is described as “a whirlwind ride through the brutally competitive Silicon Valley at breakneck speed.”

Jay Baruchel Mike Lazaridis takes the role and Glenn Howerton Jim Balsillie plays, Matt Johnson It’s Doug Fregin and he’s a star too Michael Ironside, Shaul Rubinek, Cary Elwes, Rich Sommer, Sung Won Choand Michel Giroud.

But as BlackBerry soared to new heights, it began to lose its way through a fog of smartphone wars, management indecision, and outside distractions, ultimately leading to the demise of one of the most successful ventures in the history of technology and business. .
