While everyone is waiting for a quick exit Resident evil 4 remake, some have been busy modding the demo that was released recently, and the recent demo made it very difficult for Leon to survive this small piece of the game. Issue in Resident evil 4 Demo version of the chainsaw gave fans a taste of what’s to come when the final episode airs on March 24. People already have high hopes that it will really do the original proud, which is likely given the rave reviews that have been pouring in lately. Capcom has successfully revived some other classic entries in the RE name, hype is at an all-time high that this modern version of the fourth entry will be just as big a hit, especially given the legacy of the iconic 2005 release.
However, even before the title saw the light of day, people got the most out of the demo with the mod. A recent one came from Nexus Mods user ScoovyHD who created a way to do Resident evil 4 the demo is even more difficult. Simply named Realism Mode, this little tweak gives Leon Kennedy more reason to avoid combat, as the mod reduces his health enough that enemies can kill him in one hit. As you can imagine, this means that the initial part of the village that the fans were able to tackle is now much more dangerous and difficult. The video shows several ways the rookie cop succumbs to Ganado, even falling dead from a thrown axe.
ScoovyHD has obviously been busy as this isn’t the first mod they’ve done. Another allows them further research in Resident evil 4, opening up a number of sections that shouldn’t otherwise be available in the demo. However, since these areas are largely unfinished, players can expect to encounter bugs and some sections that simply fade into nothingness.
Since the game is coming out very soon, not to mention that Capcom recently launched a soap RE anime, The abode of evilThe future continues to look pretty bright. The studio is by no means done with its long-running franchise, and with a potential ninth entry in the works, the world’s most popular survival horror series will continue to reign supreme. No doubt, the upcoming remake will only help cement its winning place in the genre.
