Yesterday’s PlayStation Showcase brought us plenty of teasers for upcoming games – even if a lot of them were CGI. Among them were the briefest announcements about Concord, the debut game from FireWalk Studios.

The Concorde’s reveal trailer, which lasts only 50 seconds, doesn’t give much away. Accompanying blog the post offers just a little more detail.

Concord will be a first-person PVP shooter set in space, coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2024.

Our first confirmation of Concord from FireWalk Studios.

“Concord is about bringing people together,” wrote FireWalk Studios. “The power of games is to create connections and inspire social gaming. The Firewalk team is driven by the type of exciting, unexpected moments and shared experiences that multiplayer games create.

“Every time you log in, it’s the start of a new adventure, and every match is an opportunity for a new story. It is these ideals that define Concord, its unique universe of bright worlds and a rich cast of bright characters.”

Sony announced the purchase of FireWalk Studios just last month. The developer, founded by former Bungie chief Harold Ryan, is the 20th first PlayStation studio.

Concord was led by former Destiny creative director Ryan Ellis.

However, as with other PlayStation announcements last night, further information and gameplay was scarce.
