New Aspects of Destiny 2 Strand Season of the Deep has completely revamped the options available to players in their chosen character classes, as newly released gameplay footage shows exactly how these aspects will work. While Bungie previously offered some information on new aspects of Strand coming to FPS game with the next seasonal update, the team has now released the current one Fate 2 gameplay footage showing Aspects players will be able to use starting next week.
Bungie has shared three new Strand Aspect videos as part of the This Week at Bungie (TWAB) blog series. The Hunter Threaded Specter Aspect video shows the character creating a Strand-based decoy that explodes, releasing Threadlings and searching for enemies. The gameplay for the new aspect of the Titan, Flechette Storm, shows the player using their glide ability to launch a charged melee and launch a cluster of projectiles in what looks like a powerful attack sequence from the Strand. The upcoming aspect of The Wanderer from the Warlock causes Tangles to turn into a suspension, and Threadling’s final hits create a Strand Tangle.

Bungie’s blog post also includes a substantial overview of all the previously announced changes to the game from Season of the Deep. The authors also consider in detail Destiny 2 season 21 artifact mod detailing everything players can unlock as they level an artifact throughout the season.

The team also revealed that players can only expect aesthetic changes to how enemy shields look in the upcoming season, but noted that this change only reflects visual differences and otherwise has no effect on damage output or enemy HP .
Finally, the post also looks at recent server issues, suggesting that they were often unintended results of how the team handled background service deployments. Bungie will now move to a fixed 1.5 hour maintenance downtime on update days, which means the team can handle the build and release changes during the same period, thus addressing some stability issues.

You’ll want to catch them as soon as possible so you’re ready to take full advantage multiplayer game offers when the Guardians return to their lost Titan destination next week.
