Alan Wake 2 could be released in October.
That’s according to Alan himself, actor Matthew Porretta, who told the Monsters, Madness and Magic podcast this weekend that he believes the developer Means was targeting the release window.
“I’ve been working and will be working on Alan Wake 2. I think it should be out in October, but I don’t know the exact time,” he said during the show (embedded below).
Alan Wake 2 is officially scheduled for release in 2023, published Epic games.
This was announced by Remedy in a game development update published earlier this year Alan Wake 2 has reached the stage where the game is playable from start to finish.
Alan Wake 2 has been announced for The Game Awards in 2021. The first trailer showed Alan in various locations, including the desert and New York.
Remedy’s creative director at the time of the announcement Sam Lake said the game will be a “survival horror” but noted that the game will “go dark” for a while before new information is revealed.
In the May 2022 update, Lake said development “went very well”adding, “We’re deep into production, have a lot of material, and much of the game is playable.”
