Nintendo has announced a new event for mobile games Super Mario Run in honor of the upcoming film. This is true; as part of the marketing for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Nintendo will temporarily let players check out more levels of the mobile game for free.
Technically, Super Mario Run is a free-to-play mobile game that gives players access to several early courses without spending any money. But it locks out most of the $10 play after the first few courses.
Each day during the event, one stage that is normally unplayable without purchasing the game will be unlocked for free. Plus, if you link your Nintendo Account, you can play the extra stage for free! These stages change daily. Let’s go! pic.twitter.com/dwNadyWUk5

But as part of the event, Super Mario Run gives players access to a stage that normally costs money to play. This stage will be available for free for one day before being locked again, giving players temporary access. Nintendo also confirmed that linking a Nintendo Account to the game will unlock an additional stage.
The update doesn’t add anything for existing players, but is more aimed at attracting newcomers.
In addition, the full version of Super Mario Run will be available at a discount until May 31, 2023. Super Mario Run was launched in 2016 and is now available for iOS and Android. Super Mario Bros. will be released in theaters on April 5, 2023.
