The Walking Dead alum Steven Yeun is about to make his big debut in the MCU Marvelof Thunderstorms movie. When her casting was first announced, her role was described as “not only important to this film, but could also play a role in future Marvel Cinematic Universe films.”
“I don’t know if it was clear on my bucket list. It was more of a story, working with Jake Schreyer again, who was running Beef and what his intentions were. The intentions of the character they wanted me to play were very clear and that’s what drew me to the film.
We don’t know who this character will be or even if the villain will be a hero. We’ll just have to wait and see. He also talked about working with her Bong Joon HoMickey 17 says:
“I learn a lot from him. There is a friendship that he allows me to participate in with him, which I really appreciate. At the end of filming (Mickey 17), when we shot my last scene, I remember turning to him and I said, “I’ve learned a lot … and thank you.” It had to be killer.”
Yeun joins the cast Thunderstorms including Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour As the Red Guardian, Julie Louis-Dreyfus As Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell As a US agent, Hannah John-Kamen as a ghost Olga Kurylenko As a taskmaster and of course Florence Pugh As Elena Belova. Then there is Harrison Fordwho will take on the role General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross Who will be the president of the USA? Captain America: New World Order. Ayo Edebiri also added n undisclosed role to the cast.
We don’t know much about what the story of Thunderbolts means, but recently learned New details on the Thunderbolts team from Kevin Feigeand he talked about Bucky Barnes leading the team in the movie.
A movie is being made Director Jake Schreier (Paper towns, A joke), from a script written by Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok, Black widow) and Kurt Busiek. Thunderstorms premiere will take place on July 26, 2023.
