Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order became the best-selling game in Europe in April.
Despite only being released on April 28th, the game topped the monthly software sales chart, ahead of others EA name FIFA 23according to GSD data published on GamesIndustry.biz.
The research firm’s data covers physical software sales in major European markets and digital sales of most major publishers.

A total of 10.4 million console and computer games in April was sold across Europe, which is 5.3% less than last year.
For hardware, which excludes data from Germany and the UK, console sales in April were up nearly 58% year-over-year.
PS5 jumped by 144% compared to April last year, Nintendo Switch sales increased by almost 38%. Xbox Series X/S sales increased by more than 19%.
However, only Switch sales increased in April compared to March, thanks in part to the launch Zelda Switch OLED model.
