Editors Note: This article contains spoilers Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Like Hope van Dyne could have taken a completely different story path (Evangeline Lilly) had a son during the early stages of the project. in a post published at Lucas Grantthe official Instagram account of youth Five Nights at Freddy’s‘s star shared some fun set photos and explained how her part was cut in three.

In the original post, we see Grant filming some scenes with Lilly and their second child. The three actors are dressed in civilian clothes in the middle of a blue room, complete with some CGI magic at the end. Apparently, Umid would have two children at some point Quantum mania, represents a drastic change from the story we watched in theaters. Grant’s mother confirms in the post that “he played Wasp/Hope’s son,” though there’s no word on the second child or who the father might be.

There are many ways to introduce a son of hope. Hope and Scott could start Quantum mania split up, Wasp tries to create a new family. Or should Hope and Scott be stuck in the Quantum Realm after sacrificing their freedom to secure Kang the invader (Jonathan Majors) cannot be avoided. If that was the original intent of the script, the couple could have children while trying to make a life for themselves in the Microverse. This justifies the blue room because everything in the Quantum Realm is created by computers. This also explains why Hope has long hair in the images.
