If you plan to register GameStop PowerUp Rewards You should probably do this by June 27th. In the coming weeks, GameStop PowerUp Rewards membership will change to “GameStop Pro” and increase from $15/year to $25/year, revising several key benefits, but you can still use the current version of the program for a few more weeks.

PowerUp Rewards members currently receive $5 in store credit each month, 10% more on trade-in value, plus additional savings and early access to select items. Members also earn points for purchases that they can exchange for coupons. In addition, you can also get a subscription to the print or digital versions of Game Informer magazine.

The new GameStop Pro program adds an extra 5% off all pre-owned games, collectibles (including Pokemon cards), clearance items, GameStop-branded products and protection plans for all members. However, new members can no longer receive the print version of Game Informer (the digital version is still available), and bonus points now automatically expire if your membership expires or is cancelled.

PowerUp’s price increases and benefits will go into effect on June 27, but you can still sign up for the current price of $15 right now and enjoy all the benefits and rack up some bonus points before the new program rolls out. Plus, new members get a $10 off coupon when they sign up.

Obviously, if you want to continue enjoying PowerUp, you’ll need to stick to the $25/year price the next time your subscription renews, but if not, make sure you’ve used all your coupons before canceling .
