Chinese developer Kuro Game has announced that it will soon be entering a closed beta for its upcoming open-world action role-playing game Wuthering Waves.

While we don’t yet know exactly when the beta will start, we do know that registration will open tomorrow.

Along with the news, we get a short teaser trailer showing what appears to be art for one of the game’s environments. You can view it below.

If you want to see more, rRecently, the developer released another video focusing on the “Resonance System”, which shows how humans and resonators attract monsters (the definition of players in Wuthering Waves), so long battles in the desert using significant resonance power can attract even more monsters.

With that said, when players defeat a monster, their abilities called Echoes become collectible. There are many Echo skills that players can acquire, including attack, defense, movement, and healing. The developers plan to turn his system into one of the main parts of the game’s gameplay.

Wuthering Waves doesn’t have a release date yet, but we do know that it will launch at some point in the future for PC, iOS, and Android. It was announced back in May 2021 and was recently showcased at the Tokyo Game Show where it certainly generated a lot of interest, so much so that I wasn’t able to test it because the queue was too long, but what I did see was a playable demo -version, of course, was promising.

Although, of course, there are visuals that draw comparisons to the ultra-popular Genshin Impact, we don’t yet know how similar the two names are. So far, this game looks promising for those who love the HoYoverse title.
