Oleksandr Usikpromoter urged fans to “stop hating” Tyson’s Fury‘ dropped this month after a fight between the heavyweights.

Usyk and Fury were in talks to box each other on April 29 to crown an undisputed champion, but the match scheduled to take place at London’s Wembley Stadium – collapsed as negotiations deteriorated.

Fury blamed Usyk, despite agreeing to a 30-70 purse split in favor of his Ukrainian rival, Usyk blamed the Brit. But Usyk’s promoter, Alex Krassyuk, wants the blame games to end.

“I want to take this opportunity and address the fans,” Krassyuk said. ID Boxing“and to insist: stop hating Tyson Fury.

“He is a normal person like everyone else, like all of us. He has the right to decide for himself what to do and what not to do. He’s the champion and it’s up to him.

“We withdrew from the negotiations,” Krassyuk said. “The Usyk Team did it – me and Egis Klimas (Usyk’s manager).

“We made this decision when we realized that it wasn’t happening and got some evidence. So the question is closed; Team Usyk withdrew from the negotiations, we started it.

“This is very important because some people keep asking me on social media: Who did this? Why? What happened? So, it’s clear now. Team Usyk pulled the plug.”

United champion Usyk is expected to face WBA mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois this summer, while it’s unclear what’s next for WBC champion Fury.

However, the promoter of Anthony Joshua Eddie Hearn opens the door for more talks with Fury – although negotiations have collapsed in the previous two cases.

Joshua is ready to fight Jermaine Franklin for the first time Saturday at the O2 Arena in London.
