Nintendo confirmed that it has no plans to attend E3 2023.

In a new statement, the platform owner confirmed that it will not be part of the revived event, which is due to take place in June.

“We approach our involvement with any event on a case-by-case basis and are always looking at different ways to engage with our fans,” Nintendo said in a statement.

“Since this year’s E3 show was not part of our plans, we have made the decision not to participate. However, we were and continue to be strong supporters ESA and E3″.

The statement confirms reports earlier this month that the Japanese firm would join PlayStation is not officially participating in E3.

so far Ubisoft was the largest publisher to confirm its presence at the exhibition.

Microsoft will have some presence in Los Angeles this year the summer showcase has already been announced. However, according to IGN in Xbox the firm will not exhibit at the Los Angeles Convention Center itself.

Details of the revamped E3 2023 formatwhich will feature separate business and consumer events spread over four days in June, was announced late last year.

And just last month, new E3 host ReedPop told VGC that it’s received an “extraordinary amount of interest” from many of the “biggest companies in the industry” and that it’s confident the lineup will be worth the trip.
