The former San Antonio Spurs psychologist has settled a lawsuit he filed with former player Joshua Primo and his NBA team, the San Antonio Express-News reported on Thursday.

Hillary Cauthen accused 19-year-old Primo of showing her genitals several times during treatment sessions.

Primo was abruptly released by the Spurs in October, with the team saying the move was only in the “best interest” of the club and the 2021 first-round draft pick.

Cauthen made his allegations public and sued the team, saying he had warned the team about his actions months ago.

Cauthen’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, told Express-News that “the parties have agreed to resolve this issue.”

The Spurs also released a statement saying that since learning of the allegations, they “have and are taking measures to ensure that all parties involved are treated with dignity and respect.”

“We know we owe this to Dr. Cauthen, our players, our staff and our community.”

More details on the deal were not immediately available, but Spurs said they would “collaborate with Dr. Cauthen and other experts to review and improve our workplace processes and procedures.”

“This is a learning opportunity for us and one that we are confident will better enable us to move forward.”
