The second season of MultiVersus free-to-play action content is almost upon us, and in preparation for its release today, developer Player First Games has detailed the additions players can expect along with the new Battle Pass and its associated rewards, including progress updates. , a new Big Head mode, and an in-game store.

Most of the Season 2 launch day changes are centered around the Battle Pass experience, and Player First Games has changed progression so all tiers now offer rewards. The number of points required to complete each level has also been changed, so the battle pass feels “exciting and rewarding”.

In terms of these rewards, the Season 2 Battle Pass unlocks the Tom and Jerry Baker Street skin at level 50 of the free version, while the paid version includes Astronaut Velma at level 1, Tea Time Reindog at level 42, and Maestro Bugs Bunny at level 50. .

MultiVersus’ newest fighter jet, the Black Adam, arrived in October.

Premium cosmetics, meanwhile, include Evil Morty for 1,500 glomiums, as well as Fern, Uncle Shagworthy, and flamboyant Samurai Batman for 2,000 glomiums apiece. All of these can be purchased from the newly implemented in-game store, which brings all the cosmetic items and characters in one place.

Elsewhere, Player First Games added a new Big Head Mode to their Silly Queue lineup, giving players “big heads and even more cooldown reductions”. Silly Mode has also added new bounce items, a proximity mine, and drumsticks (the latter being a throwable item capable of turning opponents into chickens).

Full details of MultiVersus Season 2 expansions can be found in the Player First Games patch notes.
