Capcom has a date Monster Hunter Rise: The sun for Gaming console and Xbox console
During the Capcom Spotlight digital event on Thursday, the publisher confirmed that the Monster Hunter Rise expansion will be released for Sony and Microsoft system on April 28, 2023.
Additionally, Capcom has announced that it will hold a digital event in April to introduce the next free content coming to the series.
To play the expansion, users must own the base game Monster Hunter Rise, which was released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in January.

Monster Hunter Rise was originally released for Nintendo Switch in March 2021 before heading to PC in January 2022.
It is already Capcom’s second best-selling game of all time, having sold 11.7 million copies as of December 2022. It is second only to Monster Hunter World, which was released in 2018 and sold 18.6 million units.
In January, Capcom announced that the Sunbreak expansion for Monster Hunter Rise was five million copies were sold via Switch and PC.
