Marvel’s Phase 5 could end the big series The Avengers In the MCU. First brought together by SHIELD director Nick Fury in 2012, the original six characters were brought together in a crossover that made cinematic history. However, the current round of Marvel movies could end the long-standing record, marking a true transition from the first iteration of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
As you can see Avengers: Endgame Serving as the end of the Infinity Saga, three of the original six Avengers were removed from the current MCU. Black Widow sacrificed herself so that Hawkeye could obtain the soul stone, while Iron Man used everything. Stones to undo Thanos’ decimation, an act that cost his life another great sacrifice. Meanwhile, Captain America chose to stay in the past after returning all the stones and ended up with Peggy Carter in his original timeline. While all of the surviving Avengers are featured in Phase 4 of the Dawn of the Multiverse Saga, Phase 5 may not.
Phase 5 may be the first phase of the MCU without the original Avengers
After Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow pass away, the only surviving original Avengers are Hawkeye, Hulk, and Thor. In Phase 4, Clint Barton’s Hawkeye has his own project, meeting Kate Bishop while coming to terms with his dark past and the loss of Black Widow. Thor: Love and Thunder Briefly addressed the God of Thunder The last game while ending with Thor takes his adopted daughter. Bruce Banner’s Hulk was shown in the post-credits scene Shan-Chi along with the views She-Hulk: Lawyer which also teased his continued adventures in space with his new son Skaar.
It appears that none of the surviving Avengers will be in Phase 5. This is a major first for the MCU, where there will be an entire episode without any of the main six Avengers. According to Phase 5’s release schedule, there are no specific locations to show them off. Likewise, all three are in retirement/transition. Clint Barton ended everything with Hawkeye to be with his family with Kate Bishop. Also, Hulk and Thor have new kids after Phase 4.
It’s a good thing that the MCU is breaking its original Avenger line
Chances are pretty good that Marvel’s Phase 5 won’t have the original Avengers. This means that the MCU can start moving forward with new characters and those who inherit the legacy they left behind. With the exception of Thor, the God of Thunder, Sam Wilson, Kate Bishop, Elena Belova, Jennifer Walters, and Riri Williams are examples of current heroes who could carry the respective mantles of the original Avengers. There are many more heroes who can keep this legacy alive.
Phase 5 is really an opportunity for the MCU to break new ground with the series A sneak attack and Thunderstorms The film features a much darker team than the Avengers. Similarly, Deadpool 3 perhaps helping usher in a whole new wave of mutant heroes with the X-Men and Knife Further explores the supernatural side of the MCU. For all intents and purposes, there’s no need for any of the original Avengers to appear, and perhaps it’s for the best that they don’t.
When will the rest of the original Avengers return to the MCU?
While a break from the main Avengers six is a good thing, that doesn’t mean they should never come back. Especially with what On the horizon for Phase 6Hulk, Hawkeye and Thor will probably be featured Avengers: Age of Ultron, the next big crossover movie that will undoubtedly threaten the stability of the multiverse thanks to Kang the Conqueror. Similarly, multifaceted disorder should be present in both Kang dynasty and next Avengers: Secret Wars Black Widow opens the door for Captain America and Iron Man to potentially return through alternate timelines and variants. Anyway, original The Avengers His absence in Phase 5 will be good for the future of the MCU.
