Wave 4 is coming next week with 8 new tracks.


Nintendo confirmed that the fourth wave Mario Kart 8 Deluxe The Booster Course Pass will be released on Thursday, March 9, with 8 tracks for the class.


All tracks for the fourth wave of the Booster Course Pass can be found below:

A cup of fruit:

  • Amsterdam Drift (tour)
  • Riverside Park (GBA)
  • DK Summit (Wii)
  • Yoshi’s Island

Boomerang cup

  • Bangkok Rush (tour)
  • Mario Circuit (DS)
  • Waluigi Stadium (GCN)
  • Singapore Speedway (Tour)

In total, Booster Course Pass holders will receive 48 classic tracks spread over six waves. Nintendo has also confirmed that previous characters in the series will return over the next few waves, starting with Birdo in the fourth wave.

As shown in the trailer above, Birdo will be a middleweight character. The official description of the characters releases the reds: “Berdo, who first got to the starting line Mario Kart: Double Dash!!— gains momentum to join the race with nine color options to choose from! You can race Birdo and score some great wins on each of these courses as part of Wave 4.” (via Hematsu)

If you haven’t already taken the plunge and purchased the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, you can access the previous three waves right now, as well as the upcoming fourth wave for $24.99. For those who subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, the Booster Course Pass is included at no additional cost. The full game and DLC can be purchased as a single bundle for £84.98, as listed on the official website Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Website.
