Ronaldo feels ‘betrayed’
Cristiano Ronaldo said in an exclusive interview with The Sun columnist Piers Morgan that he felt betrayed and turned into a black sheep.
The Portuguese superstar, who appeared in a conversation on Talk TV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored, makes many claims while his career at Manchester United seems almost over.
He feels blamed for everything that went wrong at the club and believes he is currently being actively kicked out.
At work, he had three bosses in a little over a year.
First, his ex-teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was fired just weeks after Ronaldo’s return, has nothing but respect.
He has little to say for the other two, Ralf Rangnick and current manager Erik ten Hag.
Of Rangnick, who hasn’t managed a football team in over a decade, he says: “If you’re not even a coach, how are you going to be the boss of Manchester United? I’ve never even heard of his name.”
Of Ten Hag, who last month suspended Ronaldo for refusing to be a last-minute substitute against Tottenham, he says: “I don’t respect him because he doesn’t respect me. If you don’t respect me, I will never respect you.”
