Disney+’s Marvel shows have been mostly one-offs up until this point. Loki has been the only exception so far, his return teased in standard Marvel Studios style with a post-credits teaser. Loki Season 2 now has a premiere date with Echo.

Season 2 of “Loki” will premiere on October 6, 2023 and will consist of 6 episodes. The Hawkeye Echo spin-off marks another first for the network, with the full series premiering on November 29, just two weeks after Loki ends.

The second season of Loki will pick up sometime after the end of the first season, when Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Sylvie (Sofia Di Martino) and Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) challenge the Time Warp Administration, run by a variant of Kang (Jonathan Majors), who we seen in Season 1 of Loki as The One Who Remains and in Ant-Man and the Wasp in Quantum Mania as Kang the Conqueror. Ke Hui Kuan (Waymond Wang in the movie “Everything Everywhere and At Once”) will also appear.

Echo continues the story of Maya Lopez (Alacqua Cox), a deaf Native American assassin who fought Hawkeye in his 2021 series. According to the official synopsis, Maya “must confront her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace the importance of family and community.” The show also stars Chask Spencer (Wild Indian), Tantu Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon), Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs), Cody Lightning (Hey Victor!), Graham Greene (1883) and Zan McClarnon (Reservation Dogs). ). Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox will also appear as Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

According to Variety, Disney planned to release five live-action games on the service in 2023, including Loki Season 2, Echoes, Secret Invasion, Heart of Iron and Agatha: Sabbat of Chaos. Secret Invasion premieres on June 21, 2023, but Heart of Iron and Agatha: Sabbat of Chaos are expected to premiere next year.
