If you’re even a passing fan of the John Wick series, you’ve probably come across one of Keanu Reeves’ films. educational videos for the series at some point. The actor shoots hundreds of real rounds with experienced teachers to prepare for his brutal action scenes, and he applies the same focus, dedication and sheer will to his stunts in the upcoming Johnny Wick 4, according to the new feature.

“We have all the styles of John Wick: cars, new weapons, jiu-jitsu,” Reeves says in the video. “With Chapter 4, we took it to another level.”

In the video, Reeves says that he underwent about 12 weeks of preparation for the film in addition to all of his work on the previous films. This includes training with nunchucks, which Reeves describes as “difficult” before the video cuts to him throwing them to the ground in frustration.

“For Chapter 4, we wanted to bring back the muscle cars,” Reeves continues. “We will have this sequence around the Arc de Triomphe.”

“We ripped all the doors off and lost the windshield,” says stunt coordinator Scott Rogers. “You’re going to reverse one eighty and you have to shoot the gun and you have to reload. He actually started getting also good in the car.”

“We’re smashing people, hitting people, it’s just amazing,” says Reeve. “Have we gone too far?”

John Wick: Chapter 4 Reportedly the Most Action-packed of the Series “with a good margin,” will be released in theaters on March 24, 2023.
