MANILA, Philippines—Rhenz Abando once again strengthened against Changwon LG Sakers, beating Anyang KGC 84-67 in the Korean Basketball League at Changwon Gymnasium on Sunday.

Abando finished with 17 points on a 12v7 shooting night with seven rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal. He also did a star show for Anyang on Saturday.

Omari Spellman also helped Anyang with 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Justin Gutang, on the other end of the field, made a bad start as he missed all seven shots in the 21st minute of the game. However, he counted four cents and three tables in a losing effort.

Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus beat Daegu KOGA Pegasus 85-72 at Dongcheon Gymnasium, while RJ Abarrientos was one step ahead of SJ Belangel in their recent relationship.

Abarrientos beat Belangel with eight points, one rebound, one assist and one steal. Ateneo’s standout player, on the other hand, had only two markers in eight limited game minutes.

Like Belangel, Ethan Alvano took a loss at Goyang Gymnasium as Wonju DB Promy lost 82-77 to Goyang Carrot Jumpers.

The former Alab Pilipinas player counted six to his name to go with two boards, two dimes, and a packet of food on the defensive side.
