If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like for Homelander (Anthony Starr) and butcher (Karl Urban) to sit down and engage in pleasant conversation, you’ll find out – sort of. A recent clip from Prime Video Children sees the two stars sharing their thoughts on not just the hit series, but how they broke into the entertainment industry.
The New Zealanders are as suave and energetic as ever, taking a well-deserved rest and relaxation break after filming the show’s upcoming fourth season, and the very different paths each took to landing their roles. They talk about l. The audience got to know Starr Compatriot as the ultimate badass Supe (and guy), Urban is on a quest with the Butcher to get revenge on the man who took so much from him. In the third season, Butcher tried new tactics, which began to put them on the same level, while the fourth season seemed to be a time of renewal or break in his life.
Speaking about what got him into the business in the first place, Urban said he grew up watching his mother work on film sets in New Zealand. By embracing it and attending live screenings of each film, Urban says his “compulsion” to act began at the age of eight. In contrast to the experience of his colleague, Starr, who was recently together Jake Gyllenhaal inside covenant, says he not only doesn’t see himself becoming an actor, but that he’s “still trying to figure out what I’m going to do when I grow up.” Lucky for us, we have Starr found a place with Children and Homelander loves to play because its performance makes the show.
