Majors were arrested on Saturday and is currently facing charges of strangulation, assault and harassment. His victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to hospital. in a published statement DiversityMajors’ defense attorney, Priya Chaudhry, argued that there was evidence to prove Majors’ absolute innocence, including “Video footage from the vehicle where the incident occurred, witness statements from the driver and bystanders, and two written statements from the woman who denied the charges.Check out his statement below:

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and was the victim of an altercation with a woman he knew. We will quickly collect and present evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped.

“All the evidence proves that Mr. Mayors is completely innocent and did not attack her. Unfortunately, this incident occurred because this woman had an emotional breakdown and was hospitalized last night. The NYPD requires this. Under these circumstances, the only reason for an arrest and the arrest of Mr. Mayors That’s it. We expect these charges to be dropped soon.”

According to sources, Majors’ alleged victim is the actor’s 30-year-old girlfriend. After a night at the bar, sources say, she saw Majors texting another woman and the two began arguing over texts when they returned to their apartment. The majors in the taxi allegedly caused “minor injuries” to the victim’s head and neck.

The incident involved an alleged strangulation and Majors also allegedly hit the victim. The victim is currently recovering in stable condition at the hospital and his current condition has not been released. Mayors’ attorney said the reports so far were false, and the video evidence would be enough to completely disprove the public’s understanding of the events.

Instead, Chaudhry insists that Majors is actually the victim of the events, as the video claims. It remains to be seen whether the lawyer’s accounting is correct. It turns out that if the video evidence is not enough to challenge the initial allegations, the actor could be sentenced to several years in prison.
