Police in southern Italy say they have seized 2,700 kg (2.7 tons) of cocaine hidden in banana boxes shipped from Ecuador.
The drug was detected using specialized scanners and with the help of a sniffer dog called Joel.
The containers were shipped to Armenia, but the police managed to infiltrate the transport in Gioia Tauro.
