Epic Games is releasing the Season 2 Chapter 4 update for its wildly popular Battle Royale game Fortnite.

Adhering to teaser trailer released earlier last nightwe get a look at the environments, skins, and gear players will encounter in the new season (and new season pass) of the game, including Attack on Titan collaboration with the participation of the hero Eren Jaeger.

The aesthetic of the update and its name “Mega” no doubt leans heavily towards the Japanese cyberpunk aesthetic, which I’m sure many will find very appealing.

You can watch the video below and see if it inspires you to jump into the fray.

We also get a cinematic trailer that showcases many of the skins and gear that players will be able to enjoy with the update in a more cinematic way.

Fortnite currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Android. It can also be played through the cloud on Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now.

The game debuted in early access in 2017 and has since become one of the most popular games in the world, eclipsing the success of previous battle royale games such as PUBG. It’s also a central part of Epic Games’ strategy with the Epic Games Store (which today we saw some interesting statistics) and demonstrate its capabilities Unreal Engine 5.
