Plum skin Witch accused Manchester United of playing “garbage” and making a mess in the first half 3-0 wins on city of Leicester.
Marcus Rashford hit it twice and replaced jadon sancho He scored in 14 of United’spearl They won 15 games at Old Trafford but Ten Hag felt their side was lucky as they led 1-0 at halftime.
He accused them of forgetting their principles, but said that their players were not happy at the break and they knew where they made a mistake.
He explained: “I was really unhappy with our (first half) performance. We have to abide by the rules and principles from our style of play. It’s messy when we don’t. We were really lucky to be one goal ahead at halftime. Great pass (from) Bruno (Fernandes), great goal Rashy but bullshit for the rest. The only reason we didn’t concede is David de Gea. Leicester played great in the first half, we were trash because we were really undisciplined.
“I could see they were not happy with their halftime behaviour, I could see they were disappointed but they are not robots. We are playing by the rules and rules of our second half game.”
Ten Hag shrugged his championship-winning speech and added: “We don’t think about it, we think about tomorrow, we have to be a better version of ourselves and work for it.”
Brendan Rodgers insisted Marcel Sabitzer should be sent off to challenge Wout Faes in the first half, and after referee Stuart Attwell overlooked the interception, he thought it was “incredible” that VAR didn’t intervene.
The Leicester manager said: “It’s an expulsion, a straight leg above the knee. How it wasn’t looked at and was considered incredible. The straight leg made him sit right on the knee.”
After leaving Bayern Munich on loan, Sabitzer, who played his fourth game for United, was not even given a penalty.
