EA is supposedly polling fans if they want to see remakes Deadspot 2 and 3.

According to game developer Dillon Rogers, they received a survey that asked, “How interested would you be in a similar remake of Dead Space 2 (2011)?”

The survey reportedly asks the same question about Dead Space 3, which came out in 2013.

EA’s horror remake was released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC January 27 and takes 2nd place in the rating US software monthly chart based on only two days of availability (NPD reporting period covers January 1-28).

The publisher has yet to comment on whether it plans to release further remakes of the Dead Space games, but the latest release has a new ending which seems to refer to the sequel.

Dead Space Remake Developer Motive announced it last year he will be working on the Marvel Iron Man game. VGC asked the creative director of Dead Space Roman Campos-Oriola what this meant for the potential for future remakes.

“I like that it gives us a lot of momentum going forward in terms of finishing this game. Personally, I’m a big fan of Dead Space, but as for the future, I don’t know,” he said.

“I can’t speak for a different project, but I can say that it’s not uncommon to have studios with multiple projects. Especially in big companies like EA.

“In terms of recruitment, again I’m just talking about Dead Space, is that I joined to work on that game and we have a lot of people here. This brand, as a developer, is very attractive.”
