Today, Blizzard Entertainment released new details about the open beta for its upcoming RPG, Diablo 4.
The advertisement shares a specific time for early access for pre-orders and the beta version itself.
- Early access to the open beta begins March 17th at 9am PST and concludes March 20th at 12pm PST.
- Open beta testing begins March 24th at 9am PST and concludes March 27th at 12pm PST.
A pre-download will be available closer to the start of both stages.
Available classes are Barbarian, Rogue, and Wizard. You will be able to create up to 10 accounts for one Battle.net account. The level cap is 25, and progress will roll between early access and beta, but all characters will be removed after that. Progress does not carry over to the full game.
Couch co-op will be available, and only one player will need access for both to play during Early Access. Four-player online co-op will also be available, but all four players will need to have personal access to the Early Access phase to play from March 17-20.
Smashing demons next to another player will give you a 5% experience bonus, while it will be 10% if you’re next to another member of your party.
Participating in the open beta will also give you the following rewards:
- Initial victim Name: earned reaching Kiovashad with one character.
- Early Voyager Name: earned reaching level 20 on one character.
- Beta Wolf Pack cosmetic item: is obtained for reaching level 20 on one character.
