If you’ve spent any time in Destiny 2’s PvP pack, you’ve probably noticed a dramatic increase in the number of Stasis Titans running around the map. You probably also noticed that your Guardian has been eliminated ridiculously quickly in these skirmishes with Targeted Redaction’s new seasonal hand cannon.

There’s a reason why, and that’s because players have discovered that the Collective Action property of this hand cannon can be used to take down an opponent with just two well-timed hits. It’s a two-touch kill with the hand cannon, and no matter how high your stamina is, you won’t be able to avoid being killed by a high-speed one-two punch.

As noticed Fallout plays, Collective Action grants a stack period of increased damage when collecting elemental pickups, so Titan players use their Stasis subclass and Tectonic Harvest aspect to create these Dark energy shards. Combined with Elemental surge and Void weapon armor mods on the leg armor, titans can easily two tap their way to victory. All the titan needs to do is make and break the ice when he needs to, collect the shard, and activate the Collective Action buff.

Don’t be surprised if Bungie fixes this issue quickly. The studio usually removes problematic weapon and armor mods from the game while it fixes them, though there’s no word yet on whether this will be done before the launch of Trials of Osiris and the new dungeon after the daily reset.
