Destiny 2 The Final Shape trailer
The Destiny 2 The Final Shape trailer shows Ikora talking to someone trying to catch them up on past events such as the destruction of Savathun aka the Witch Queen and Nezarek the Last God of Pain and boss Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares Raid.
The teaser then shows the person she’s talking to, who turns out to be one of the most beloved characters in Destiny history: Cade.
Kaide-6 died at the hands of Uldren the Owl, and Uldren was possessed by Riven, a powerful Ahamkar who was taken by Oryx, the Taken King and Oryx’s brother. This was a watershed moment in the history of the Destiny 2 series. In an unexpected twist, the Light revived the Ulden Owls. He took the name Raven and retained no memories of his past actions, deciding to become a Guardian.
History buffs know that the number after the exo name is significant because it indicates how many times the exo has rebooted its system. This indicates that despite Cade being long gone, the Vanguard was somehow able to revive him as Cade-7.
This is a huge revelation as the main players in the Destiny 2 series seem to be falling away quickly. Rasputin sacrificed himself to prevent Eramis from using the Warsats to destroy the Traveler, and the game also recently lost Amanda Holliday, the pilot. It looks like Sloane is struggling to get the hang of it Destiny 2 Season of the Deepthough it is too early to know her ultimate fate.
And for anyone wondering, it’s actually Cade’s trusty Ace of Spades that you see him setting up in the trailer, as indicated by the spade on the side of the weapon. It is noteworthy that, unlike Ikora, he does not have a ghost shell. His former ghost, Failsafe, continues to hold his post on Nessus, indicating that a reunion of sorts may be taking place.
The trailer also seems to indicate that the pyramid will represent its final form, as the game shows a glowing pink structure against a serene setting.
The Final Shape Destiny 2 will be the final part of the story that Bungie originally outlined in the original Destiny, and the expansion will be the culmination of a decade-long story in multiplayer game. While you’re here, why not check out ours Location of Xur leadership?
