The PowerWash simulator is about to get a whole lot wetter as the awesome hose-em’-up heads to the depths of the ocean as part of a new SpongeBob crossover coming this ‘summer’.
Details on the SpongeBob SquarePants PowerWash Simulator special pack are currently scarce, but teaser video The crossover ad really lets you see the player looking at an extremely dirty bikini bottom with a nozzle in hand.
While PowerWash Simulator has already received several free-to-play crossovers, taking players to Tomb Raider’s Croft Manor and Final Fantasy 7’s Midgar, SpongeBob SquarePants will be the first in a series of paid Special Pack DLC crossovers announced as part of developer FuturLab. At the time, he outlined plans to release one paid Special Pack crossover and one free update per quarter over the course of the year, the latter taking players to new areas of Mackingham, the not-so-sensible location of the PowerWash Simulator base game.
We already had the big first free update – The Muckingham Files – arriving last month as part of PowerWash Simulator’s Q2 offerings, so the ‘summer’ release for the SpongeBob Special Pack seems to indicate that there’s been some deviation at FuturLab. plans
Whenever it eventually arrives, the PowerWash Simulator SpongeBob special pack will be available for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
