Billy Crystal’s 1997 Academy Award opening is easily one of my favorites! I missed watching Crystal at the Oscars! He was so nice and so funny!
At this opening ceremony of the 69th Academy Awards, Crystal appeared in a montage of clips from the five films nominated for Best Picture. Movies came out that year Jerry Maguire, Bright, English patient, Secrets and liesand Fargo. It is also included in films like that Star Wars and North to Northwest.
This is a great video to revisit, and if you’ve never seen it before, you’re in for a real treat!
