Today, Sega released another trailer for their upcoming mobile JRPG 404 Re:Set gamedirected by NieR creator Yoko Taro.
The trailer introduces another playable girl in the game, Virtual fighter. I love Out Run, After Burnerand Virtual policemanwhich we’ve already seen trailers for, it’s essentially a stripped-down version of the once popular Virtual fighter fighting game franchise.
She is voiced by Fairuz Ai, who is the voice of Jolin Cujo in The strange adventure of Jojo series, Celis Orthesia and Ashen Lu in The legend of heroes series, and the young man in Fire Emblem Engage.
If you’re familiar with Japanese games and media, you probably won’t be too surprised by this concept of turning everyone into girls. Japanese pop culture brought us cat girls, ship girls, plane girls, horse girls, console girls… and now we have game girls. With Yoko Taro at the helm, we can expect this and more.
